Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person in the Holy Trinity and He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is eternal (Matthew 3:16; John 14:16; John 15:26.)

Salvation

We believe in the salvation of man; his fall and redemption. Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world.

The Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He was manifested to undo the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. When Jesus died on the cross, He became sin and sickness for us providing salvation and healing for all.

Psalm 103:3. Salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. We must believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior of our life (Romans 10:8-10; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 5:20-21.)

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is by full immersion, is a direct commandment from our Lord, and is for believers only.

Baptism in water is an outward sign of an inward faith. This is a statement to the world that a believer has “died to,” or put away, the old ways of life while being raised to a new way of life in Christ (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12.)
