We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ to all believers and that it is received subsequent to salvation. Believers are entitled to, should expect, and earnestly seek the promise. Evidence of the Baptism is according to scripture is an uncompromising love for others, a boldness to witness the testimony of Jesus Christ, and an earnest desire for Christian service as well as speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-7.)
We believe Communion is the celebration of the Lord’s Supper; a time of remembrance of what God has done for us through Jesus and the finished work of the cross. (Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25.)
We believe in Divine Healing and that divine provision was made for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of the believer through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for by the redemptive work of Christ and is a privilege for every member in the Church today (James 5:14-15; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24.)
